We make Jalapeno Tree a regular stop when we go to the movies at the AMC30 in Mesquite. It is close, the food is pretty good, and it is not overpriced. We went here for my birthday, and unfortunately someone mentioned that to our waitress. I was suffuciently humiliated, but the food was still good. They also brought out a complimentary dessert for me. The only issue that I really had was the subzero temperatures inside the restaurant. I am a big guy, and I put off a lot of heat, but it was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant, and the food cooled down incredibly fast. As far as portions go, I do not think anywhere has a better deal for the money. My plate was so huge, it could have fed me three times over, and did. We will definitely keep this as a regular stop.
