May 19,2009 I had my Pool cover installed about a little more than 3 years ok. I like the safety feature of the cover but hate the rest. The manual tracking already broke once for no reason and Pool covers came out to fix it. The material can?t be kept clean and looks awful about couple of month and the rain. The color fades fast from the sun and stays dirty all the time no matter how much simple green you use to clean it. The pump for the top of the cover is poor quality and constantly needs to be taken apart to work again. The cover went of track several times and the last time the service tech came he was out maybe 10 minutes to perform maintenance and we ended up paying around $100 for nothing. The service tech notices that the roller is bend for no reason ( we don?t sit on the dam thing or do anything with it) and the material showed corrosion already. After several phone call attempts I finally received a call back from a very nice lady. She was checking with the service tech and Manager who never returned my phone calls and was going to get back in touch with me. She did call me back while I was in a meeting the next day and left a message to give her a call. I did twice left message and never heard anything back. With the recent hot weather we noticed that there is always moisture and little puddles of water on the cover at the location were the material is clued together from the inside. I called last week and was told that someone will call me with a service appointment. Never heard from them until a voicemail today that there will stop by today to take a look at it. Well nobody is home and the dogs are in the backyard. After calling customer service I talked to Julie I believe that was extremely rude and told me that now there would be out after Memorial Day, since this is an employee owned company I would expect a better customer service and follow up from Pool Cover Inc. There are a lot of options out there and I would defiantly look for another company next time I need a pool cover installed.
