I don't have experience with the photography or wedding gown rentals part of this store, just the custom tailoring of qi-pao dresses.
As part of this store, there is a husband/wife pair (Mr/Mrs. Du) who make custom qi-pao. When I went in to get my qi-pao made, they initially took the wrong bust measurements and so there was loose extra fabric around the chest area that I tried to get them to fix and they kept telling me that it's not possible to fix it and that it's just that way because I have a small chest.
When I took it home to show my mom (she has a sewing background), she told me that they just had too much fabric at the chest area, and that the dress looked like it was tailored down from a bigger size as opposed to being made custom. We took it back to them to get them to re-do it.
The second time around, the bust area looked fine (since I guess they made the correct measurements this time) but there were other areas that didn't fit well, like the shoulders and the hip/thigh areas. We asked them to fix these areas, they tried to convince us that it was actually correct (when you can clearly see that the neck area was uneven on both sides). When we kept insisting that they make the changes so that the dress would fit, they would get annoyed and make rude comments. At the final fitting, when we asked them to take in the side where there was extra fabric around the stomach, the guy flat out refused to make any more alterations and made us sign a piece of paper saying that there would be no more alterations before allowing us to take the dress. Oh and he yelled at us all the way out the door as well.
All in all, the promised time was 1 month, and it ended up taking 3 months and 8 trips back to the tailor (each time a 1-hour drive around trip) and we got yelled at and insulted.
I would definitely recommend AGAINST going to this place (Mr. and Mrs. Du) for making a qi-pao.
Pros: The other people working at the store are civil.
Cons: Custom dress tailor rude and incompetent.
