Some experience that was. 5/3/2009

Before going into Plato's Closet, do a lil research before you decide that you think you might get what you had anticipated on ""designer clothes."" Plato's Closet is a gently-used, young adult and teen clothing store. They take pretty much anything that is a mall name brand that is current within the past 18 months. The franchise targets YOUNG ADULTS & TEENS. So, when people decide that they are going to take in their ella moss or whatever, think about it. If the girls that are buying them reject your designer clothes, they prolly did it because other teens haven't heard of the brand and it's not going to sell in the store. And if they do buy it, there's a matrix that the franchise has provided as a guideline to pricing items. However, on the other note, today was a terrible experience. As I walk though the door, the place was crammed. When I say crammed, I was literally crammed and didn't have any space to move/walk around to shop. No one greeted me and the girls were talking about life at the cash register. Also, there were lack of inventory and not very much to choose from... and I heard that Plano makes the big bucks... BUT! I was so disappointed about walking out empty handed. As I was walking to my car, I heard some young girls talking about a location in McKinney. Seriously, yall gotta check it out! It's so much bigger, and every time you walk through that door, someone WILL greet you!! You can breathe a sigh of relief because you don't have to feel so claustrophobic as you're shopping because there's room. The employees are so nice and will direct you to a specific location if you're look for something in particular. Seriously people, don't get discouraged about the Plano location. The atmosphere is totally different when you go to McKinney. GO THERE! more
