I wanted to see Dr. Effron for a simple skin exam and during my evaluation I voiced concern over some uneveness in my skin tone. She suggested I had rosacea and recommended I buy all of her skin products including a cleanser, sunscreen and moisturizer. She also prescribed a very expensive face cream. She spent no more than 5 minutes with me and as I was asking questions she kept inching towards the door at time opening the door and then closing it again as I asked a new question. When I got my bill later I was charged $179 for that 5 minute office visit not to mention the $15 face cleanser, the $30 sunscreen, the $115 face cream and the $30 face wipes and I haven't seen any improvement in my complexion. After seeing her bill and experiencing such terrible bedside manner I canceled my follow-up appointment and will be seeking a new dermatologist. I wouldn't go back to her if it was free.
