I brought my car to A-Z Auto Center for the first time after a collision in which my rear bumper was damaged. They dealt directly with the insurance company for me and did a great job with the repair and the finish work. The car looks like new.
What most impressed me though was my experience there after the car was repaired. My car was at the garage for a little over a week, and when I went to pick it up, I noticed some minor dents and scratches on the passenger side door, which I was fairly certain had not been there before. Lee looked at the door with me and was equally certain that the dents and scratches did not happen in his care. It is standard procedure that A-Z would have taken photos of the car when it was first brought in, but in this case, the photos were undated. So we amicably agreed that Lee would contact my insurance inspector and ask for his photos of my car after the accident. But as it turned out, the inspector didn't get any pictures of the passenger side door. So there was just no way to prove either case. And, in fact, Lee could have lied to me and told me there were photos showing the damage -- I would have had to take his word for it. But instead, Lee voluntarily took the car back and repaired the scratches and dents at his own expense -- and then even buffed out a few other scrapes he saw and washed the car for me before I returned to pick it up. That kind of courtesy, honesty and personal responsibility is so rare. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
