My Husband and I just adopted 2 kitty's from Spokanimal shelter and they both got spayed. Well one of them was running a high fever and she had sores in her mouth. I called to make sure that we can go in I explained that we could not pay for it bc my husband hasn't got paid yet they said THEY COULD NOT SEE HER BC OF THE $80 CHARGE as a walk in I was so shocked. I told them that we can pay when we can but they said they would not be able to see her, the women on the phone said that I should call a friend or family member so they can take a Credit Card over the phone then they will see her. I could not belive that they are more worried about MONEY then helping our Animals Something has to change bc what if she dies and they could do something but they WOULDNT bc they didn't get PAID we went to another Vet place in the Valley they were so great they even seen my kitty and said i could do monthly payments.
