I have a troy-bilt mower that I purchased through Lowes. It has not been the most reliable by far (thanks Consumer Reports), and it has need needed server every year. I bought an extended warranty through Lowes and the service center is the Lawn Mower Shop in Bound Brook. Every year, without fail, the Lawn Mower Shop does NOT respond to the calls or faxes from Lowes Service. It is only when I call and complain that they send someone out. Even then, they NEVER fix the problem. They replace the battery, but it doesn't change the fact that weeks later the new battery will no longer hold a charge. There is a root cause that the Lawn Mower Shop either cannot or will not fix. I will go out of my way to never have to deal with them again.
