Purple steer has been in the area for a long time. For the most part, you can go in and get a steaming hot cheap plate of food. The ethnic foods are somewhat bland and can be spiffed up with salt, pepper and ketchup.
The service is a craps shoot, some days they are hot, other days, they are not....some days you'll have a great server, other days, you're lucky if the server says hello to you before throwing your check down as soon as you get your food...
