First off, I'll start with the fact that I've been a bridesmaid 5 times and that out of all the snooty bridal boutiques, this is the worst I've ever been to.
A major annoyance for me is that bridal boutiques (beyond David's bridal) generally don't carry more then ONE dress of a particular style; it's in a large size and they pin it to your body with ""garment clips"" so that it fits perfectly in the mirror (which I call ""chip clips of lies"" because honestly thats exactly what they look like)
""I do too!"" is no different, and of course this has absolutely no use to you as a bride/bridesmaid; because the actual dress is going to be cut differently and give a different shape then how they pin it to your indiviual form with these ""chip clips of lies""
You're going to look fantastic in the mirror though, and then they're going measure you, and look at their charts to determine what size of dress you should get. Because remember they don't carry individal sizes so that you could try the actual dresses on or anything. So you shell out the $230 for this dress but aren't upset because you looked so darned good in the mirror.
Now cut to when your dress comes in; you haven't gained or lost any inches/weight and yet the strapless mermaid dress (which is of course supposed to be TIGHT so that it can stay up) falls to a puddle of satin and tulle when you're not holding it up.
""I do too! Bridal"" can't do anything, because clearly your measurements must have changed; even though they make you stand by the front desk in the middle of the shop while they pinch 3"" of excess fabric around your waist and then RE-MEASURE you to find that your numbers are still the same. The point of return is contractually passed; but they CAN offer you a 10% coupon on the $200 alterations it would take to fix it, it would take 4-5 weeks though and the wedding is in 6 weeks.
I hate this place! and I took my ""circus tent"" dress to my local seamstress, who only charged me $80 and had it done in less then 2 weeks!
NEVER GO TO 'I DO TOO!""
