Cakery Bakery honestly makes one of the best triple berry cakes I have every tasted. However, if you are considering ordering a large scale triple berry cake from them (i.e. wedding cake), please be careful as they really cheat you on the berries. If you are ordering a regular cake which feeds 10-15 people, then their triple berry cake will be decadent! That's what happened with us, we bought their 10-15 person triple berry cake to try and its was awesome. Each layer was tightly lined with berries! So, we ordered it for our wedding. Unfortunately, for a large scale cake, the quality does not apply. Our wedding cake had more cream than berries - many of our guests thought that it was suppose to be a strawberry cake as they found a few chunks of strawberries but no other berries. I was very upset with our wedding cake - I had not asked for any discounts from the baker, I paid full price for the cakes, I paid a month in advance and paid extra for the berries! What she did was unacceptable. When I complained to her afterwards, she said that she used 4 boxes of each berry. My cake was suppose to feed 175 guests! How can 4 large boxes of blueberries be enough for a 3 layer cake + a full sheet of cake? I would have been more than happy to pay her extra than for her to skimp on the berries like this especially for our wedding cake!
