The Metropolitan is a very nice and elegant place to have a function or a wedding. The food is great and the service is good. They also offer a club night where people can go for drinks and dancing every Friday (They call it the After 9 Lounge). My only REAL complaint about it is that they are quite pricey for a place that isn't that big.
