The beer/wine menu has no prices. Even when we asked the server for prices for beers or wine, she didn't know, and went to the kitchen to ask, coming back with the answer to the price of one drink only. It would be very embarrassing and time consuming to try to get a price list for a number, let alone all, of the drinks. Plus the drinks (one learns, when one gets the bill) are on the expensive side--a tad more expensive even than at high end restaurants nearby . Also, in my ample experience with picking up a pizza to go, it is ready in 45 minutes, promptly. Sitting in the restaurant, though, our pizza was not ready for a full hour and 10 minutes. The two things taken together--no prices on the drink menu plus an excessive wait--felt to us as if they were trying to maneuver us into unwittingly ringing up a higher-than-intended beverage bill while we waited excessively long for the pizza. Mind you, I have experienced the extreme waiting time more than once, often when there were only a few patrons in the whole restaurant, so it's not that they are too busy to finish the pizza on time. All the customers were waiting and waiting and waiting--from my experience, it seems to be the norm. Our beverage bill more than doubled the cost of dinner, as was intended, I imagine. Okay, they got more money out of us than we planned--once. But we're fed up at last and won't go back. If they think this policy is subtle, they're wrong.
Pros: Very good pizza; deep dish is best in Western Suburbs.
Cons: Questionable policy for dine in
