Hoke's was touted as ""genuine Texas BBQ""
Silly me, I went in expecting juicy, smoked brisket, sweet-tangy and thick red sauce, and some good southern fixin's as sides.
I found none. The ""meat"" was flavorless, lacking in color, smoke, texture, moisture and all else that makes BBQ great. It was also horridly overpriced. The sides were all a'la carte and not worth the plates served on. The service was nonexistent.
The place was grimy, dingy, and smelled (Not of good smoke and charcoal, either.)
I wouldn't ever go back, nor would I recommend anyone else bother wasting their money.
Pros: Can't Think of Any.
Cons: Bad Food, Indifferent Service, NO Atmosphere
