My boyfriend bought me a 'day in heaven' gift certificate for Christmas. Things are a bit hectic, so I unfortunately lost the gift certificate he gave me (I know....bad girlfriend). Anyway, we made a call, located the credit card statement as proof of payment and went to Heaven's Spa to make an appointment. As we approached the spa, we saw a man storm out of the door yelling into his cell phone, hang up, then walk back into the spa. We laughed and commented that he indeed needed a day in heaven. How surprised were we to see him behind the desk! When we approached the desk, my boyfriend introduced himself by saying that we had called and spoken to a gentleman named Alex, the reason for the call and then produced the credit card statement. The man took the credit card statement, walked out from behind the desk, put the statement in a file and told us to call back in a couple of days. All that and hardly made eye contact with us. A few days later when we called, we found out that the man we interacted with was ALEX and is out for a few days (hopefully mental health days!!!). Will I go get my 'day in heaven' there? Sure - but only after confirmation that Alex will not be the person putting his hands on me. I'm sure they have skilled massage therapists who excel at their profession. If only their customer service employees excelled at theirs! Pros: ummm...none come to mind Cons: where do I start? more
