I work in a field which requires relocation every few years, so I have dealt with numerous landlords and property managers and know the difference between the good and the bad. When I had my pre-move in inspection, I showed up at the scheduled time. The inspector had showed up early and walked through without me. She handed me a copy of the paperwork, told me I could walk through myself and to bring the paperwork by if there were any other discrepancies, and got in her car and left me there in the driveway. When I found several stains, cracks and holes around the house and brought the amended list into the JWC office, the manager told me I would have to schedule another inspection and pay a reinspection fee, even though the inspector did not give me a chance to walk though with her the first time. JWC was extremely slow at responding to maintenance requests. They said it was because the property was still under warranty with the builder and therefore the contractor had to send someone
