I've been to SCG several times over the past few years.\r

The first time was for brunch, which I will admit is quite good. Our party of 6 showed up on time for our reservation and waited about five minutes to be seated. The service was attentive without being annoying...usually buffet service is pretty poor but our server was good about keeping drinks topped off and clearing plates. The buffet itself was quite good: lots of fresh shrimp (shell on, but tasty enough to be worth peeling) & crab, tasty salads, an omelet bar and the usual roasted meat/hot side dishes. It's not the biggest brunch around but the food was fresh enough. And the price was reasonable. So I'd give the buffet 2.5 stars.\r

I've been also been to SGC twice on date nights with my husband. Both times we were quite disappointed: mediocre service (how many times to do I have to ask for an ice tea refill?!) and mediocre food. Nothing really stands out on the menu...I tried their prime rib special and found it not bad
