DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN! He seriously is the worst doctor I have ever been to. First of all, I made the appointment a week in advance and the day before the appointment the receptionist calls to tell me they have a new office location... strange.. right? I chose him mainly because his office was nearest mine and I needed to make a quick visit on my lunch break. I waited forever in the new (38th street NOT 60th St) location. When I was finally taken to an examination room I was seen by a very nice nurse. She told me to undress, put on the paper smock, and the doctor would be with me shortly. I sat there waiting for an eternity! Several times the door to my room would open, i'd hear people and i'd start to straighten up and say hello only to have it shut again! I kept thinking everytime, surely now the doctor is coming in right? When he finally does come in (flanked on either side by pretty young interns/nurse practitioners or whoever they were) he doesn't introduce himself, he doesn't look me in the eye or say hello or anything. He talks about me almost the entire time without ever actually talking to me. He only finally begins talking to me when he decides to tell me in the most condesending voice imaginable that my freckles and birthmarks are clear indications of my stupidity in the sun. He talks to me as though he's scolding a child, then perscribes three medications (all of which turn out to be the ultra expensive designer brands!!) without saying a word to me about what they are, what my options are, what my disease is or what our treatment plan will be. And then he just walks out. No good bye, no advice, no follow up appointment talk. He had the worst bedside manor I've ever encountered and the meds he perscribed cost me a fortune! \r
TRUST ME! DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN!
