This place has been a favorite for years. It is not close to me, and there are several Chinese restaurants between me and South Garden, but I will make the trip for their food. Their egg drop soup is the absolute best I have ever had. They recently underwent some renovations and redecorating and it looks a lot more ethnic. One reason I really love this place is it is group/family/kid friendly. My best friend and I have been taking our kids and family to eat at South Garden for over 3 years. It is our favorite place to go to get together. I have celebrated special days there and just went to satisfy my craving for their good food. GO EAT SOUTH GARDEN TODAY!!!!
Pros: It is small and not very crowded. Low lights, and soft music. Service is friendly and food is awesome!
Cons: It's not closer to me.
