I have to admit it: I hate seeing Lee and Canyon Auto. It's through no fault of their own however. Most of the basic periodic maintenance I do is by oil/ tire shops so when I go to Canyon auto it's because something bad happened to my Pathfinder.
With that said, I have had nothing but stellar service from Canyon auto. The prices are low. When I moved to Portland, I needed to find a permanent mechanic so I did prices checks on the several shops when I needed to get DEQ ready. Canyon Auto's were lower; in fact they didn't charge me for the inspection like the other two shops wanted to do.
As far as service is concerned, despite how busy they get, they kept me informed each time I had work done. They also understand that without a car, its difficult to get back to the mechanic shop so (since I live close) they even gave me a ride to/from the house. They also understand that to have a job, people need to go to work, because of that little known fact, they also are open weekends and after 5 PM. This alone makes them better than most auto shops.
Finally, everything they fixed has never had to be returned for rework.
The only place I will take my truck is Canyon Auto.
Pros: Price, Service, Quality
Cons: What are the drawbacks?
