I had all the carpets in my new house cleaned as well as an old dirty sofa and loveseat. Groves uses a machine that really gets down to the floor and cleans the carpets of all the yuck! We had one room that the previous owner used to smoke in and the carpets were nasty. I've had my nose in the carpet since the cleaning and I cannot smell any smoke or bad odors.
They will be honest with the customer. If they can do something they do it. If they can't, they tell you.
