I have been going here since shortly after it opened and I go almost once every week, sometimes more. Fortunately, I have never had any problems with the owners or waitstaff. The ""female manager"" I believe was referred to in a previous post has always been very kind when I've been there. The food is delicious. Even though I have been many times I always struggle with what to get because everything is so tasty. My husband loves this place as well. I will say that you are better off eating early or late lunches or dinners because the restaurant is very small and gets packed quickly during lunch and dinner hours. During these times I have seen people wait for quite a while to get seated and there is not much of a waiting area. Service is also pretty slow during these times so don't be surprised if you have to wait for you food for a bit. Overall, I am happy with this place. It is nice to not have to travel into Houston to eat good sushi.
