The Wellness Center located in a residential area of south Minneapolis near Lake Nokomis is a great place to get a massage. It's nothing fancy or frilly but the rooms are comfortable, relaxingly lit with soothing music, and they have an ambiance somewhere between a doctor's office and nice hotel. They offer you hot tea or water when you arrive. They have products on shelves that you can peruse. And, after your massage there is a glass of water waiting for you at the front desk where they remind you to drink plenty of water and recommend taking an epsom salt bath and relaxing when you get home. They offer other services like a flotation tank but I've never been. One of their therapists uses sound waves via tuning forks to get your muscles back in tune. It may ""sound"" crazy but it worked for me. We've recommended friends and they say that it was the best massage they've ever had--check it out!
