We were staying at the Green Palm Inn for ouyr 41st anniversary. Since we'd visited the Old Pink House years ago, we had to go back. This time a local said ask to go to the tavern downstairs. We did just that and hung out at the bar while we waited for a table. The service was perfect and a time to learn a little from the locals dining there. The fireplace, old bank vault door and piano music all added to the comfort, and coziness of the tavern. Then, we were seated and the good times began. The steak my husband had was perfectly grilled and my shrimp and scallops over linguine were so tender and beautifully seasoned. Our server was super attentive and ended by bringing a charming Happy Anniversary written on a plate as we had declined dessert after a scrumptious meal. He also brought a candelabra to set the scene. We will come back again and recommend our new ""tavern"" location at the Old Pink House to our friends and to anyone reading this.
