I visited Veronico's for the first time Valentine's Day 2009. The Menu was wonderful and the service was top notch. The restaurant was beautiful with the white linens and soft candlelight. They were extremely busy, yet the atmosphere was relaxed and you were not rushed. We were amazed by the way the staff all worked together to keep things running smoothly. Even through an emergency with one of their employees (in which 911 had to be called), the staff held it together! Most impressive was how much they seemed to truly care about each other as well as their customers. We started with homemade foccacia bread that was still warm!! The crab cake was moist and full of flavor, my filet was the best I have ever had - cooked to perfection and finished with roasted mushrooms...and My dining companion had baked Tilapia topped with seafood that was AMAZING. Our martinis were wonderful and we wished we had room for a dessert...however we were too full and could only admire the chocolate mousse martini the couple next to us was enjoying. All in all, this was a remarkable experience in so many ways. We will be back to try breakfast, lunch and dinner on a regular Friday or Saturday evening.
Pros: Homemade food, fantastic service, unique menu items, Ambience, relaxing
Cons: Street parking, not enough room for dessert!
