While visiting Hendersonville, I asked a friend if he could recommend a nice little restaurant for lunch. He recommended the Blue Goose, saying it was the best restaurant in Hendersonville. He was right. It's a quaint (read, ""old"") little place that has been converted into this a little restaurant. The servers are friendly - and pretty! - and the food was GREAT! I had roast beef that was fantastic! It was smothered in brown gravy and was lean and tender. The side dishes were also great and the homemade pecan pie reminded me of my mother's. In fact, everything is homemade. My mouth is still watering! My friend tells me they have a marvelous hamburger that he calls a hubcap because it is so big and ""to die for."" This was my first visit there and definitely will NOT be my last.
Pros: Great food. Beautiful servers. Good price.
Cons: They don't take plastic. Parking is a bit of a hassle.
