My car was taken to A&D as a result of a car accident in Jan 2007. A&D is the body shop for American Family insurance. They recomended A&D. The car was determined to have over $5000 in damage and was not considered a total loss. A&D was directed by American Family to repair the car. After 61 days of the car being in the possesion of A&D it was determined to be a total loss. The reason given was parts were not avaialble. The car was a 2006 KIA. It was later disscovered that the parts buying person for A&D was ordering parts for the wrong car. A&D did not know how to order the right parts. As a result I had a rental car for 61 days and the max the insurance would cover was 21. As a result I had to pay $1100. out of my pocket for the rental only to not even get my car back. Anybody who puts there trust in A&D should be prepared for incompitent techs working on their cars.
