These people presented themselves as honest businessmen buying oil and gas leases in Northwest Arkansas. They bought these leases from unsuspecting land owners for $25.00 an acre, then turned around and sold them for $250.00 an acre. They had inside information that companies were going to want to lease that land soon. Legal? Probably. Moral? No way. Someone should check into a class action suit, though I'm sure (as all good scam artists will do) that they have covered their rears.
