Our server Lauren told us off which got in the way of what would have been an average meal with appetizer highlights. The raddichio baked in gorgonzolla cheese with walnut crust was exceptiional. AFTER we had tipped above 20% our server came over to tell us she hopes we come back but had overheard bits of our conversation she ""found the subject matter offensive"" We had been discussing LDS history (which can be an offensive subject matter indeed) and how it is to live in Utah. Please note we were the only people in the restaurant and kept our voices to a reasonable tone. If the owners/managers are LDS and do not want non-members dining there if they speak of historical fact that doesn't highlight the church's best moments then they should advertize as the best Mormon Italian in town. The pesto gnocci was just above average though the portion was small.
Pros: delicious appetizers and exciting religious drama
Cons: servers who can't keep their job seperate from their faith and are easily offended
