Being residents of midtown, we're always on the look out for a good brunch in the neighborhood. So we were looking forward to experiencing Norma's after having a very solid burger at Burger Joint. When we were seated, our table was unclean... my girlfriend's seat had food on it. The decor was bright and loud, and the elbow-to-elbow seating reminded me of a school cafeteria -- which could be okay, but not when you're paying those prices. The service was poor. The food took over half an hour to arrive. Our server didn't check in on us once during the wait. The food was good and competently prepared, but not worth the price. And being seated to a chair with food on it is unacceptable.
Pros: Creative dishes -- ""Good,"" not, ""Great.""
Cons: Table and chairs weren't clean; Poor service; Overpriced
