My family and I have visited the Causeway Diner at least once a week since they opened (over 2 years ago) and have never been disappointed! Hands down our favorite place to eat out. The food is delicious (breakfast, lunch and dinner), everything is homemade (including the soups and yummy desserts!), and the portions are HUGE (I usually get 2 meals out of one plate)! Definitely well worth the money. In addition to the wonderful food, the servers are always super friendly, quick and efficient (and most take the time to know you by name). This restaurant is family owned and operated, and it is obvious they care - either the owners, John and Dolores, or one of their 3 sons are always there to greet you kindly and they take pride in the great food that comes out of their kitchen. Now we feel like part of the family every time we come in! If you live in Merritt Island, the surrounding areas or are just passing through, this place is a definite MUST for any meal.
