If you want to live in a place that does not offer any reapirs and upgrades then this is the place for you. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Everytime I've asked to have something done; I've gotten an excuse. It got so bad that we started doing the repairs ourselves. Since our stay there, we've moved into a 2 bedroom because we had a son who is now 6 months old. When we moved into the 2 bedroom we asked that the dishwasher from 1970 be replaced so that I may wash the baby bottles - didn't happen. Then we told them that the lock on the front door jams - they told us that Bill will get rtight on it - Its been 6 months. Then we complained that the light in the closet didn't work - they gave us the equipment to do the repair ourselves. Last, but not least, our heater gave up in mid December and all we got from Bill was the run around. When finally confronted about the delays in the repairs the owner Bill (the owner) yelled at us as if we were his children. Literally yelled that he would have to spend money to get someone to come out. How dare he let us live without a functional heater. It is beyond me why someone would not make the effort to maintain his own property - not to mention that he knows we have a newborn - he will not make these repairs. My question to him is how bad does it have get before he can make any move. Does the fact that I have a newborn make any difference to him. Is it too much to actually get the appliances & maintenance from the landlord who initially sold us on these details when we moved it. If I can't get the repairs done, then I'd prefer he lower my rent! I truly hate this place and try not to run into any management - especially Bill!
