We ordered several half-order of biscuits and gravy today at Popi's in Ruskin. We informed the waitress that the gravy was bland and full of big lumps of flour and were asked to inform the owner (the man at the register). Upon doing so, he told us that he had already been informed of our dissatisfaction and had himself tried the gravy. His findings and comment to us? ""I tasted the gravy and it was good"". No apologies and invitation to return to give them another chance. We have tried this location before and found the prices high (the half order of biscuits was $4.50) and food bland. So, we won't be returning to Popi's, nor could we recommend it to anyone. If you want GOOD service, prices, and breakfast deals, DON'T go to Popi's in Ruskin.
Cons: food is bland, prices high, owner not receptive to criticism
