I am new to Birmingham and asked friends for the name of a doctor for my yearly check-up. Dr. Cynthia Lassiter was recommended. I went for the visit and waited 1 hour and 55 minutes for her to see me. She did a complete physical and was out of the room in less than 3 minutes! I timed it. She did apologize, stating that she had a baby to deliver. I can understand this - but since I am past the childbearing years, decided to call the clinic and ask for another doctor that does not do the baby circuit. (a gynecologist) The next visit was with Dr. Charles Hudson. My wait was 1 hour and 13 minutes. He was in the examining room with me for less than 4 minutes, gave me a prescription 'to make me feel better' and was gone.
Pros: If I have to say something nice - the people in the lab were pleasant.
Cons: I was treated like a number by the doctor, given a prescription and sent out the door. TWICE!
