I moved to Fairfield Pointe April of 08. This place has been a nightmare starting a week before my move date. They 1st assign me to a 1st floor when I clearly told them 2nd only! They did fix that. Since I've been my stove has broke twice, a/c went out for a week during a heat wave and took maintenance 4 times to come out to fix it, plumbing problems in the bathroom that have still not been completely fixed among several other issues. I will give it that Maintenance does come out right away sometimes before I can even hang up the phone. But they do not fix problems right away and if they do they usually cause another one. My vehicle has been broken into twice and a random egging has happened. Even though a police officer lives in the next building with his cruiser parked there often these delinquent individuals still do not seem to care. Staff is pretty nice. I have not had much of a problem with them. The layout of the apartment (on the mack road side) are wonderful, besides the small kitchen. Its extremely quiet in my building. What makes be write this review is the recent snow storms. Myself, my small child and my family have slipped and fell on the walkways because they do not salt nor shovel. I have had to buy my own salt and shovel and do it myself several day after the storm in fear that mainly small children in the building may be hurt. Not to mention they wait to plow the roads and I had my vehicle stuck at the entrance for 2 days because I could not get up the hill. When I finally did get to my building I was getting stuck in my parking spot for 3 additional days. And now I'm close to losing my job because I cannot get to work on time if at all. If your an extremely patient person this might be the place for you. But if you for a split second lose your patience you may experience what some people consider a break down.
