I have been bringing my pets to Abbotts for more than 10 years, and I have to say that I am looking for a new vet for my animals. Currently I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. It seems that since they became a VCA hospital that all they want to do is sell me extra tests and procedures for my pets. The last time I was there they told me my cat had fleas, I said NO WAY and made her search through his fur with one of those flea combs. I was right, no fleas or flea residue! She told me he must have had fleas at some point, to which I said my cats are indoor cats and have neither them or my dogs have ever had fleas. Plus, how would the fleas mysteriously go away if I never treated my animals for them? If one animal had them they would ALL have them and I would know it. The vet kept trying to tell me my cats needed to be on that Revolution flea and tick stuff, to which I said no thank you.
