Dr. Maddux - vet with an attitude! Took my dog in on a Sunday night as I thought he might have a UTI. They put in a catheter to obtain a urine specimen but lab showed no infection. Dr. Maddux suggested it might be a kidney stone and wanted to do xrays and ultrasound. When I told her we would take our dog to his regular vet the following morning Dr. Maddux developed a real attitude. She made certain to tell us that she was busy so we should be prepared to wait since it was going to take her a while to complete her discharge instructions. She also suggested (again with attitude) that we better take our dog to the vet the following day or his life could be in danger. Did she really think someone who took their dog to an emergency clinic wouldn't have follow up care? No, she was mad because they weren't going to get any more $$ from us. 3 hours and $162 later, we left. Took my dog to my regular vet the following day and he had no kidney stones - just a UTI as I suspected. Don't be foole
