Last week, I took my dachshund (Cleo) to Dodge City; to have a growth on her foot, looked at. The vet took a sample of the fluids and determined it could be cancerous. And she advised that the growth to be removed that day. I was hesitant, because the next day was Thanksgiving, and I didn?t want my dog staying over the holidays. The vet assured me that even though the office closed at noon (cause of the holidays), I could pick her up at 4 that afternoon. Before I left, I paid the bill so that in the afternoon I would not have to worry about the bill.
About 2 hours later the vet called, and said that Cleo did very well in surgery. But when they opened the kennel cage, she tried to run out, and fell and busted her lip (she was still under anesthesia).
