Update to my previous review. The owner of Six Tables called me to apologize for the bad experience I had and after talking with him, my husband and I decided to give the restaurant another chance. I'm pleased to report that our experience was much more positive. The food was excellent (I had the lobster bisque and the beef tenderloin) and the service was top notch. The owner has changed the approach, bringing down the pricepoint by serving less courses without sacrificing the quality. I believe that this is a smart move that is sensitive to the current economy. It was a romantic meal and atmosphere that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed.
