I decided to try this place after reading all the great reviews about it. I made the trip to the restaurant for dinner one week night. Once at the restaurant, it took about 7 minutes to be seated, even though the place was virtually empty. The waiters/waitresses seemed to be busy up front and did not notice customers come in. Upon being seated, it took another 5 minutes for the waiter to return with the menu and the papaddums. It took another 10 minutes to get my food after I placed my order. I hoped the food would make up for the poor service, but alas, it was a double whammy for me. The chicken curry dish I ordered was bland; the dish was neither seasoned nor spiced. I had to add lots of salt to give it some flavor. The rice looked and tasted like leftovers. I ordered a side of naan and that too was terrible: cold, thin and crispy, instead of hot and fluffy. It tasted like naan from the frozen food aisle. \r

Indian cuisine is my favorite and 8 out of 10 times I eat out, I go for Indian cuisine. Bengali Tiger has the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. Frozen Indian food from your local store beats Bengali hands-down. \r
