I have known the cooks and some of the family since I was a kid busing tables at another italian great of the south side Nana Leone's Joe Joe and Mario were previously cooks there as well. The food and enviroment are fantastic you won't see any place like it outside of Chicago or New York. I have lived in several different places across the and this is the real deal. Great food, great conversation, and bocce ball. What the heck else are you looking for? I take all my friends and relatives from out of town there.
Pros: Great enviroment authentic as it gets!!
Cons: Location is not great but it never is for the best food!
