I've been a member for over ten years. Initially, they were always hustling for members and re-signs but after some complaints to the state they seemed to have stopped those practices, some of which were purposely confusing.
I have a disability and primarily use the pool, which is large and usually has lap lanes open.
What's apparent to me is that managers simply do not keep an eye on things. One day recently there was an enormous amount of crud of some kind in the pool, the locker room (I'm a male) is no longer cleaned as regularly as it once was, toilets work indifferently, and air conditioning and heat are something of a crap shoot.
Basically, its a spartan kind of place that primarily serves working class Worcester. Most of the time staff are friendly and things more or less work. No real frills, but for me it has made a big difference in my health, and that's what matters.
Pros: Its there when you need it
Cons: Could be far better managed
