First, I am most grateful that Rock Church takes care of people whether your a member or not who are in need of food. \r
My only complaint I have is the disrespect I get from every staff in the church (with the exception on one young lady who has medium blonde hair and wears glasses, and soft spoken). For example, I drove home tonight in tears, empty handed after I stood in line for an hour in the cold. Rock Church was handing out Christmas baskets and I was turned away because someone in the office failed to put my name down on the list after I confirmed my Monday night appointment TWICE. I approached one of the staff (short white female with short grey hair, no name tag) to explain to her what happened. Her attitude towards me was disrespectful and uncaring. She told me ""I don't know what to tell you, you'll just have to come back tomorrow"", like she didn't give a darn, who cares, not my problem...even after I told her I had already confirm my appointment. I drove 25 minutes to get there and stood outside.....needless to say I was very hurt by the way I was treated and will never recommend ""Rock Church to anyone again. I have been disrespected for the last time.
Pros: Taking care of people in need; Financial Hardship, Homeless.
Cons: The attitudes you encounter from the staff
