My brother and I decided to take my mom, and other members of our family, to Saffire for my mom's birthday. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience. Generally, we aren't hard to please, but the service was just not good. Initially, our waiter was nice (especially to my toddler), but then he quickly became overwhelmed. He was rushing back and forth between us and his other tables, yet oddly, he was still very slow and unattentive. We needed to ask for things and wouldn't see him for some time to ask him! I told him it was my mom's birthday, and he said ""Happy Birthday"" to her. That was it. My father didn't like his meal, and ordered something else. Not once did the waiter apologize. At the end of the meal, we ordered dessert (that came with ice cream) to go. When we asked for the ice cream to be packaged separately, our waiter rudely replied, ""What? It's going to melt! Well, ok, but it's going to melt."" Actually, it was cold enough outside (less than 30 degrees!) for the ice cream to be just fine in the car. We got home to find that the ice cream was not packaged separately. Too bad I didn't check it there. Overall, I was disappointed and won't be returning to Saffire.
