Tonight my wife, who is Asian, phoned this Pizza Hut to order delivery of some wings. When the woman who answered the phone had trouble understanding my wife (who has lived in the U.S. for years and speaks English very well), she began to yell at her. My wife then asked to speak to the manager; the manager (a woman named Lorena, I've since learned) told my wife to ""call back when you learn to speak English."" My wife was in tears, and when I immediately phoned the restaurant to complain, the manager first denied that the incident had ever taken place, and then (when my wife identified her voice) told outrageous lies about the supposed foul language my wife had used. I am as angry about the manager's attempt to deny the incident - and to blame it on my wife - as I am about the incident itself. I'm a former Pizza Hut employee, and I've always loved the chain's food. But, needless to say, we will never patronize this location again. This borderline racist behavior is totally unacceptable.
Cons: Treated Asian customer like dirt
