When the hours are late, FUSE is our favorite spot to go to in Chapel Hill. Wonderfully understated & cozy decor, done up with very warm, subdued almost film noir-ish lighting. The bar itself is decent, though somewhat on the small side (be aware that this is a local hangout, ok, so don't expect to sit your college or yuppie ass down at the bar, wave money around, and expect to be served immediately; this is Chapel Hill: be patient, ease into it, & go with the flow -- people are *really* nice, if you are too). This is a great place to go with a group of people for conversation and drinks, and yet it has little nooks and crannies to escape to with someone you want to get to know better.
Pros: funky intimate atmosphere, late night menu, full bar
Cons: none, unless you are a dillitante
