This bakery is maybe the only one on Long Beach and most LB residents go there simply because of that fact but I was outraged when I was waited on and the employee that served me did not use gloves when she handled my bread and then handled money in the register to boot! I called the manager and explaned that if I saw that again I would call the Board of Health to complain. At times, the cakes and pastry are fresh and delicious and other times I have purchased cakes that were stall that I did not hesitate to return. Another turn off is the glass window and doors that seem to always have finger prints on them. It would be more welcoming if someone were to clean those prints up at least a few times a day. If we can see the dirty doors and windows, I am wondering what lies in the back where all the baking goes on that customers cannot see. Not clean enough for me.
Pros: Some good cakes, nice assortment
Cons: Not too clean, some stale items, girls dont wear gloves
