Ok, let's start with the pro's. They seem to have a lot of good youth programs and its not an intimidating store by any means. A simple selection of entry level guitars makes it easy for beginners to choose from. From another review i also see that they do guitar repairs. although i'm not sure as to what extent.
The con's: Well everything else. All the equipment is overpriced. Not $20 or $50 overpriced but up to $250 overpriced vs. Guitar Center and online store Musician's Friend. The case here is a squire precision bass beginners pack bought online at Musician's Friend or at guitar center for $300 cost a whopping $550 here. The selection is non-existant. A few Made In Mexico Fender strats and tele's were the highest quality guitars I saw (both sold for $150 more here than at GC or MF). Also the lady working at the time was unable to tell a customer the difference between a fender precision bass and a fender jazz bass. Amp selection was also very limited.
If your hoping to find a cool independent guitar shop with knowledgeable salesmen and interesting guitars, or at even a place for affordable equipment this is the wrong shop.
If your looking for a place to send your 10 year old kid how to play the guitar you bought for a $100 less at Guitar Center, this is the right shop
Pros: Great for Entry level players
Cons: Terrible for most anything else
