I was referred by my family physician to Dr. C. Anyway, I had been having severe acne problem since this summer. So finally in October, I went to see Dr. C and hope she could steer me in the right direction. First I had to wait close to a month for an appointment. Then when I got there on time, I still had to wait close to 45 minutes for Dr. C to see me. She took about two seconds looking at my face and then started throwing a crazy long list of prescriptions to her RN. I ended up spending close to $200 for that list of prescriptions. After using it for two weeks, my face got even worse. I had six new severe acnes popped up on my face all at once, on top of what I still had on my face. That was terrible timing for me because I had so much PR work at the time. So while I was at the hotel, I desperately caked up those new acnes with what I have always been using to fight existing acnes - Clearasil acne treatment. Then when I got home the next night, I stopped using all that stuff prescriped by Dr. C and which I had spent so much money on. Instead, I pulled out my old Proactiv 3-step facial cleaning regimen and started using it again. Then I continued using my Clearasil to fight the tough acnes on my face. That was the darn truth. After just a week, my face start clearing up and now after a month and a half, I am pleased to tell you that there are no more new acnes popped up on my face again (knocking on wood). The acne scars on my face are also fading away. I feel so much better now. And today I called the office to inform them that I won't be coming to the follow-up which was originally scheduled for next Monday. I don't see a reason to spend another $60 co-pay for nonsense. I did ask if anyone would want to hear my reasons but they didn't even care. They just said thank you for letting them know I cancelled the follow-up appointment. So you think I will ever go back or suggest them to my friends and family? Heck no!!
Cons: long wait and horrible outcome
