We had purchased a 4 pc livvingroom set from Rooms to Go approx 10 years ago and loved it, so we felt very confidant this year when we decided to replace it with a NEW set. The 3 pc set we picked out they only had the floor model left in the couch and chubby o wall chair and told us they could deliver the loveseat NEW from the warehouse. This was on November 8, 2008. We are POSITIVE the salesman told us there could still be a limited one year warranty on the furniture.\r

By November of 2009, we had noticed that the LOVESEAT (which came from the warehouse NEW), had ripped apart and the stuffing was coming out between the back cushions, the Chubby o wall chair was leaning to the left where the hardware had bent underneath, and the cushions underneath the leg area (all the seats reclined) were beginning to ball up ..on all three pieces.\r

When I called Rooms to Go approx one week before our 1 year anniversary, she told us that since we had purchased the floor model on 2 pieces, there was an ""AS IS"" written on the receipt which meant NO WARRANTY, and she would send a salesman out to look at the loveseat.\r

The salesman came to my home on Nov. 19 and took out a needle and thread and sewed up the rip, and unzipped the leg of the loveseat and cut up a cheap piece of foam and inserted it...that was all.\r

We paid over $1700 for this set and bought it due to the fact that we are foster parents and were getting ready to adopt a 2 year old boy \r
(we have girls). We specifically asked the salesman for a set that could take WEAR & TEAR!! \r
